The app is very useful in general but needs updating for a better user experience. To start, the logo really should be redone so that the app looks more presentable. And then the interface should be updated to match the sleeker look of iOS. The search interface could really be reorganized for a more intuitive feel. There is also an issue with the search feature which does not display anything when the view is set to "all." Otherwise, keep up the good work!

Hasnt been updated in 2+ years, interface doesnt scale for 5.5 inch display iPhones, doesnt always connect reliably, crashes.

I agree with most of the comments for this app. Its a must-have companion app for the excellent Mac software, SecuritySpy. The interface is initially a bit confusing, but once you get the hang of it, youll be using it all the time. I had a bunch of questions about its operation and contacted the developer. The developer is extremely responsive-- I received helpful information back in an hour or two (and it was over a weekend!) I especially like the push notifications that I now receive from my cameras. Highly recommended!

This app is a must have for Security spy owners. Easy to set up bad awesome support from Rob if you run into any issues. Notifications are a great feature. 5 stars all the way

Since the re-design I’ve been scratching my head wondering why they did these stupid things to the interface. It is more stable with the latest 2.x builds but still crashes a lot more than the 1x versions did. They re-implimented the ability to get between cameras in full-screen view, but the “flip” effect is slow, silly and useless, a simple sliding effect is what should have been here. I’ve started running the 2.x versions as trying to manually re-install the older 1.x versions just got to be too much of a hassle.

Let me start by saying this app is fantastic, and perfectly meets all needs for viewing your SecuritySpy cameras. Viewing multiple cameras is awesome and searching for recordings is extremely easy. On top of all this, the developer is a great guy, even responding to my feature request same-day on a Sunday and pushing the change out in 4 days! You cant go wrong with this app and it is worth the $10 and more

Remember you must have a securityspy server and link this app to that server. Once thats done you have an extremely capable client for your security camera. Full featured and flexible. Its great!

Great option for use with Security Spy. Would be nice to pause and rewind from live view. You only check it when you hear something. That may be an SS feature request though.

Remote Patrol is a great app for accessing your camera feed from Security Spy. Ive been using SS for eight years and Remote Patrol since it initially launched and couldnt be happier with both of them.

Trying to playback clips crashes the app.

I have just started using the program. It does what is advertised, it has a clean interface and there tech-support has been phenomenal for any questions I had! I really like the push notifications.

This app is great for your security system. I use it to see whos at my front door when people knock. You have a view of multiple cameras. Although you have to be in wifi range of your system to view. You have access to your cameras and can move them around or take a screenshot.

I have 10 cameras, I can usually get 7 to show up but cannot get all to display at a given time.

Ever since we have had incidents where people have trespassed, and actually stole things, I feel the need at times to look at how things are going at home. I love the easy accessibility of the cameras, and the different views we are able to see. It is a great product!!

This is a great app. Doesnt get in the way, and in the day and age of a lot of poorly crafted stuff, it stands heads and shoulders about the rest. Or another way of putting it, this App "simply works" well!

I have been using Remote Patrol for some time with great results. Recently, I am having an issue and there is no support. My cameras are viewable intermittently. I in unexplainably get an error message Remote Patrol can not connect to the server with. I havent changed any settings recently. I went to the website and there is no link for support or to contact. us. Therefore, I am stuck with no solutions and you will be too. Good Luck!
